Personal Assistant Role (Westwood Care and Support)

Here at Westwood Care and Support Services we pride ourselves in delivering a high standard of person-centred care to people in the community. Senior and Support Workers (Westwood Care Group - Fossdale)

We are looking to recruit Senior support workers, support workers and casual support workers for our new dynamic project.We provide respite and day care services for young adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Staff will be required to work a variety of shifts. Duties include supporting members with all activities of daily living and supporting members to access community activities on a daily basis

We can offer you a highly skilled and supportive staff team, good rates of pay of between £9.20 and £10.20 per hour, an excellent training package, holiday pay and staff incentive scheme.

The residential home is based within YO43 postcode

Out of Hours Coordinator (Westwood Care and Support)

Looking for a new challenge that enables you the flexibility to work from home?

We are recruiting for an out of hours on-call care co-ordinator, this role involves:

  • Receiving calls from service users, staff, families and other professionals.
  • Dealing with emergency’s as they arise
  • When needed, support with the delivery of personal care and support to cover sickness and absence in the community. This role includes support from a qualified member of staff at all times.

Hours of work are as follows:

Week 1:

Tuesday 17:00-22:00

Wednesday 07:00-08:30 then 17:00-22:00

Thursday 07:00-08:30 then 17:00-22:00

Friday 07:00-08:30 then into the office for handover any time before 17:00. You are then off till the following Friday

Week 2:

Friday 17:00-22:00

Saturday 07:00-22:00

Sunday 07:00-22:00

Monday 07:00-08:30 then into the office for handover any time before 17:00

We also have the option for 15 additional flexible hours working as a community supervisor. Pay rate for the above roles is £8.80 per hour.
